My Nan has just had her bathroom re-fitted and when they took away the roof a box fell through. It contained hundreds of her and my Grandads silver wedding anniversary cards, from the early 1980's!
Don't you just love the patterns and colours, nearly all are floral and some have cute little animals on them.
Now-a-days our cards are full of humorous jokes, obscene images and swear words; I would just love to receive one of these instead, just for a change! (Not that I don't enjoy the occasional obscene, rude, joke card!)
Oh, did everyone enjoy showcase week last week? There is one guest poster that I didn't get to feature so she will be included this week sometime!

it is good to see the design of 1980's silver wedding cards.It gives the idea that what type of designing were used at that time.
