I thought I would share with you a little idea I had recently - I brought this gorgeous Regency cake stand from Urban Outfitters with the intention of using it as a jewellery holder, and I think it looks great!

I also brought this cute bowl too, and I'll be storing all my rings in there by the side of the cake stand!

It will look even better when I get my white washed dressing table; the cake stand will take centre stage.

LOVE this idea! I saw something similar a while back where someone had their nail polishes on the bottom tier. I really wanted to do that, but I can justify buying another cake tier for this purpose when I have a couple already that I use for food purposes.

That's not a bad idea to use the cake stand as jewelry holder. I have one from a gift basket we got for Christmas. I might try to use it as such. :)

I saw the cake stand and bowl and just had to have them - but I needed to justify it! So I decided I could recreate them into jewellery holders!

This is gorgeous, I adore everything from Urban Outfitters. And I love how you've taken such a simple idea and made it your own. I would never have thought to buy a cake stand for my jewellery. Definitely a clear justification to buy these items! What will you buy to hang your necklaces from!?
Haha, I like this idea - it certainly looks great. The only downside is that your jewellery will gather some dust. It looks super though! :D
